Safety
​

The participant must be agile and medically fit to take part in this activity due to the nature of this activity. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions or have any doubts about your medical fitness, please consult your doctor before partaking.

The minimum age to drive the vehicle is 18 years of age.

Anyone under the age of 18 (as a passenger) will need a parent or guardian to consent to their participation and sign a disclaimer on their behalf.

Anyone under the age of 18 to be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Every participant/spectator on site will have to read/sign a disclaimer informing of the risks involved in this activity. Anyone who refuses to sign a disclaimer will not be partaking/spectating.

Anyone who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted on site under any circumstances.

Due to the dimensions of the vehicle, the minimum height required to drive is 4ft 6", and the maximum height is 6ft 8". The maximum weight is 20 stone.

Each participant must wear protective equipment provided.
Anyone who refuses will not be allowed to drive the vehicle.

Each participant must follow the rules and listen to the instructor to minimise the risk of injury to themselves, the instructor or any others.

Anyone who is not following the rules and are putting others at risk will be asked to leave site.

Anyone who is putting others at risk by their behaviour or actions deemed inappropriate will be asked to leave site.

All participants and spectators must not cross any boundaries to the 'Do Not Enter' areas under any circumstances for their own safety. The only time a participant or spectator will cross these boundaries is with a member of staff present to enter and exit the vehicle.

NIGHT DRIVING ONLY - driving through image intensifiers can make your eyes feel tired. Please consider this for your travel requirements.
Footwear and Clothing

As this is an outdoor activity, suitable and sensible outdoor footwear and clothing is required. As the terrain is uneven, footwear with any ankle support (e.g. lace up boots) would be best. All safety equipment (helmet, ear protectors) will be provided by TRAX and overalls may be provided if needed.

Individual Specific Requirements
​
TRAX aims to cater for all abilities, however please bear in mind TRAX is situated in an uneven off road terrain environment and the vehicle deigns may not be accessible to everyone. Please contact TRAX with any specific requirements and TRAX will be pleased to help.

Bookings
​
For each event, each participate must have a pre-paid booking.
Each booking will need every participant/spectator full names.
Once payment has cleared, an order confirmation will be sent to the participants email address provided at the time of booking.
There will be a card machine on
site at each event if any other time slots that are available are wanting to be booked for that day, however this is subject to change and availability. Terms and Conditions are accepted by the person booking and/or participants once payment has been received.

Vouchers
​
Gift vouchers can be purchased from TRAX and can be redeemed within 12 months from the date purchased. Any expired gift vouchers cannot be redeemed or refunded after this 12 months period. There is a cooling off period of 14 days after purchase date to cancel and receive a full refund. After this cooling off period, the sale of gift vouchers are final and are non-refundable. If for any unforeseen circumstances the driver can no longer attend the date booked, TRAX, at their discretion, may reschedule with the driver subject to availability.

Methods of Payments
​
When booking, payment will be made by BACS. At the event, if there are any available slots and a participant wishes to book another slot, there will be a card machine on site. Please note, prices are subject to change.

Time Slots
​
Each booking will be arranged in time slots, so each booking should arrive 5-10 minutes before their timed slot starts. TRAX will endeavour to keep timed slots, however there may be delays. This is subject to circumstances on the day. Each time slot is dependant on the type of driving experience that is selected and the availability for each event.

Weather
​
Each of our driving experience days are subject to weather. If extreme weather or weather that has posed a risk of safety to all participating, TRAX reserves the right to cancel or postpone that event.

Event Cancellation
​
If an event is cancelled due to weather or any unforeseen circumstances that is out of reasonable control (including but not limited to acts of God, accidents, war, fire, machine breakdown), TRAX will reschedule any bookings to another event. TRAX will contact each participant effected by an event cancellation as soon as possible, however there may be circumstances in which a cancellation will have to happen the day of the event. If the event is cancelled, TRAX will not be liable for any costs by the participant for example, travel or accommodation for the event.
Refunds/Cancellations

If an event is cancelled by TRAX, any bookings pre-paid will be refunded upon request or that booking will be moved to another event. All booking shall be pre-paid, and when payment has been cleared, an order of confirmation will be sent to participants email address. In accordance to
the Distance Selling Legislations, all booking purchases are entitled to a cooling off period of 14
days from cleared payment in which the participant can cancel for a full refund. Any refund requests will need to be in writing by email, with the participants contact details and booking details.
After this cooling off period, all cancellations will be non-refundable. Any bookings that are non-attendance to the event will be non-refundable. Any exceptional circumstances for a refund after this cooling off period will be on the decision made by TRAX.

Privacy Policy
​
All conversations, disclaimers, booking confirmations and booking forms which provide sensitive and private information will be held for 3 years under lock and key by TRAX. After the 3 years, all private information will be safely destroyed. TRAX will never give, lease, sell or disclose out any personal information, nor will TRAX use any information without the participants consent. Any consent will be clearly made by the participant on the Disclaimer. Any photos taken by TRAX during the event will only be taken with the permission of each participant, and will not be publicised without the participants consent. This consent will be made clear on the disclaimer. Under no circumstances will there be any photos of any kind be taken of anyone under the age of 18 years by TRAX.

Liability
​
As this activity is dangerous, each participant/spectator on site will sign a disclaimer form, informing them of the risks involved and that it is that participants own free will of being at the event.
If an accident occurs, TRAX is not liable for any losses or damages to any personnel or belongings, injuries or accidental death.
Complaints
​
In the event of any complaints at an event, please make the event manager aware so it can be dealt with as quickly as possible. If it is a complaint after an event, please submit the complaint in
writing and sent via email to TRAXdes@hotmail.com and TRAX will take the appropriate steps to deal with the complaint.
