What is included in a Trax driving experience?

We offer either a Taster Driving Experience at £75.00 where you'll get to complete a lap on our track or a one hour driving experience at £149.00 where you will go into more depth on how to drive the vehicle and how it works during your 2 laps! Both are 1-1 driving experiences with an instructor. All slot times and actual drive times are approximate. We also offer a 1 lap ride only around the track (driven by instructor) for £50.00. Is there an age limit & do I need a driving license to participate?

You don't need a driving license, however we do ask that you must be 18 years of age or older to drive the vehicles and passengers are required to be 10 years of age or older. Anyone under the age of 18 will need to have a parent or guardian sign on their behalf. Please check our Terms and Conditions for all requirements and information.

Can I choose which vehicle to drive?

Absolutely! Depending on the package you book, you can select from the options available, just head over to the Products and Services page and then when you're ready, book your experience! Please check our Terms and Conditions for any further information.

When should I arrive for my activity?

Accepted Answer

We kindly ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled activity. This allows time to check in any additional passengers or spectators and ensures you're ready to begin right on time.

How long does the experience last?

Accepted Answer

The duration of the experience depends on which package you decide to select, for example the Taster Driving Experience and the Instructor driven session last around 20 - 30 minutes as this takes you one lap around our course. If you were to choose the full experience, taking you two laps around our course, this can be around an hour. All slot times and actual drive times are approximate, please check our Terms and Conditions for further information.

When do your experience days take place?

We host our experience days once a month on a Saturday, to see which day that is please visit the 'Upcoming dates' page here on the website.

What should I wear for my activity?

Accepted Answer

We recommend wearing comfortable, casual clothing that you don’t mind getting muddy. For safety, please avoid outfits with external chains, large tags, or any loose items that could catch on equipment. As for footwear, sturdy walking boots, wellies, or any shoes suitable for muddy, uneven terrain are ideal.

Are there any height or weight restrictions?

The minimum height required to drive is 4ft 6”, and the maximum height is 6ft 8”. The maximum weight is 20 stone (127kg).

Absolutely, we encourage you to bring friends and family along for this incredible experience that they won't forget! Just a couple of things to mention, passengers are required to be a minimum of 10 years of age and the maximum number of passengers is 4. Do you sell food and drinks on site?

Any food, drink, coffees, tea can be purchased from the cafe on the SHOTS site next door, they'll be happy to serve you your refreshments and they also have seating too.
